Healthcare Assistant


This role will be based at our Kidderminster Medical Centre. Hours will be 37 per week. You will be able to join our friendly forward-thinking, high-achieving and innovative partnership, where the team take genuine pride in making work stimulating, challenging and rewarding.

The Healthcare Assistant will assist the sites clinical teams in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care, strictly in accordance with specific Partnership guidelines and protocols. The role requires:

·         New patient health checks

·         ECG recording

·         Phlebotomy

·         Injections to include Influenza, Pneumococcal, Vitamin B12, Shingles

·         Chaperoning duties

·         Processing and management of laboratory samples requested by GPs/nurses

·         Vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring and recording

·         Surgical equipment and vaccine re-stocking and stock rotation

·         Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms

·         Preparing and maintaining environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions including assisting GPs during the performance of minor operations where applicable

·         Assisting in the assessment and surveillance of patients’ health and well-being

·         Undertaking specific clinical activities for named patients that have been delegated and taught specifically in relation to that individual

·         Helping to raise awareness of health and well-being and how it can be promoted

·         Assisting with the collection and collation of data on needs related to health and well-being

·         Undertake any other additional duties appropriate to the post as requested by the Site Manager

Phlebotomist


We are looking to recruit a Phlebotomist to work across the 5 Wyre Forest Health Partnership sites. The hours of work will be 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.00 am - 8.00 pm.

The role will be to support the Doctors and practice nursing team in the delivery of phlebotomy services, delivering care within their scope of practice to the entitled patient population.

Medical Secretary


We are seeking to recruit a Medical Secretary to work across all 5 WFHP Sites. To support GP’s with their administrative requirements, which range from audio typing patient referrals and letters, creation and management of letter templates, the day-to-day management of referral processes and any other general administrative duties as required by the practice.

The hours of work are 37 hours - Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00 am to 8.00 pm.

We are looking for a person who is:

·         Educated to a good level of education in Mathematics and English language.

·         Have excellent communication skills and able to learn computer software packages.

·         AMSPAR is desirable but not essential.

Business Support Administrator (BSA) to the Clinical Pharmacy Team

WFHP are looking to recruit a Business Support Administrator (BSA) to the Clinical Pharmacy team to support the Senior Clinical Pharmacist administratively.

We are looking for a self-motivated, organised and enthusiastic individual to help with administration, support etc, to the pharmacy team to provide quality care and support to our patients. The post holder will support our clinical pharmacists team and help with the smoothing running of the team on a day-to-day basis, across 5 surgeries in the Wyre Forest area and will provide key liaison between the head office and the Site.

The hours of work will be 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The successful post holder will be based at Bewdley Medical Centre but will be expected to travel to the 5 surgeries as required.

Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Visiting)

If so we would like to hear from you.  The Wyre Forest Health Partnership (WFHP) was formed in 2014 and currently consists of 5 well established surgeries based in and around the beautiful Wyre Forest area. We have 50 GP partners and in excess of 200 staff looking after over 74,000 patients.

The motivation of joining forces and forming Wyre Forest Health Partnership was to keep traditional primary care values but in a new structure that improves and protects GPs and patient care well into the future. The post holder would have a varied workload and be part of a multi-disciplinary team.

We are currently seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (visiting). The role is full time however we can offer flexibility around the role if part time is required. Whilst general practice experience is desirable, we would be pleased to hear from ANP colleagues from across the nursing sector.

The V300 prescribing qualification is an essential requirement of this role.

The post holder would have a varied workload and be part of a multi-disciplinary team.

We are currently looking to recruit a Physicians Associate to work 37 hours per week (part time considered). The successful application would participate in all treatment and preventative healthcare services in the practice as delegated and agreed by the supervising physician(s). Would also need to have knowledge of health promotion strategies, awareness of clinical governance issues in primary care and knowledge of patient group directions and associated policy.

The post holder will need to have:

          Degree at 2:2 level or above

          PG Dip in Physician Associate Studies from a UK PA programme

          Current and valid certification or re-certification by the UK Physician Associate National Examination

          Member of the Faculty of Physician Associates at the RCP, which includes registration on the UK Physician Associate Register (the PA Managed Voluntary Register)
